Sleeve cap ease?
Hey all sewers,
I was hoping for a little help, please. When attaching sleeves that require a small amount of ease, 1-1.5" or so, where is the best place to focus that ease? Along the very top? The top more to the front? Top more to the back? Some other location (if so where)?
I am trying to put in a short sleeve, but I want to be sure I can move my arm easily enough, so I drafted the sleeve with a little extra length to ease in, only now I realize I don't know exactly where to ease things. [I am a bit out of practice since most of my sleeves lately have been laced into place, or is fitted exact, or has a huge amount of extra to pleat in.]
Any and all help would be appreciated.
