Progress
The kirtle eyelets are done... at least the ones down the back that I was willing to do for this weekend. I will add in the others to make them closer set once I get everything else done. I have also hung the kirtle up for a bit to let the hem hang.
On that hem... I used some scraps of my clients heavy linen canvas, and I think it is too heavy for me. I wanted some weight at the ends, and the pattern called for it, but the linen canvas is really heavy, or so it seems. I will see how it feels once I actually wear it, and go from there.
Now to finish binding the sleeve tops with silk, while giving my poor pinky a rest from all of the tugging it isn't used to doing.
But first, some caffeine, and the cookie I promised myself if I got this part done.
