The most interesting thing about the past few days is that I decided to go on a fruit diet ... it's not the kind where I eat fruit and only fruit, but I'm eating a whole lot more of it and a whole lot less of everything else.  I pretty much cut out the breads. Yesterday was Father's Day. It was also Go Out To Two Ethnic Food Restaurants Day. After church, we stopped over a the MD parents' place to drop off a card, and ended up joining them for Indian food.  Then after I worked a few hours at the office in the afternoon, we went to an Asian Bistro place in Columbia with some friends. I'm wondering how you could effectively maintain the family unit when you have, say, seven kids and dad works all day.  How can you be one mom at home with seven kids, and give each of them the attention he or she needs?
