Little updates
It is the most beautiful day EVER! I want to run around outside, but alas, I am confined to either bed, the snuggler, or the kitchen table until my throat stops hurting. Also, I just have no energy.
Brother came and visited for a couple hours; that was a happy surprise. I wasn't super social (I told Husband it feels like I'm underwater and everything is moving slowly) but I liked hearing the brothers talk and have a good time together.
I'm knitting the Featherweight Cardigan, my first purchased pattern from Ravelry. It's coming along nicely, and is so easy to do. It's a walk in the park compared to the last sweater I did. That combined with the fact that I've gotten more practice of late makes it a lot of fun to work on :) I'm hoping it turns out really well and I can make one for my sis. I know she'd like to make her own, but she hasn't had the time to learn it let alone do it.
Last night Kelly wreaked havoc. She mewed incessantly, jumped up ion the counter and started drinking gross water out of a dirty pot in the sink, then came in our room and knocked over my water glass because she wanted to drink that. Ummm, she has her own fresh, delicious water in her bowl. And yet she is fascinated by every other kind of water source. Anyway, neither Husband nor I slept well, which might explain why I slept an extra three hours after I ate some toast and took meds.
Hopefully tonight will be better!
