I started watching Sakamichi no Apollon last night (aka Kids on the Run). I'm two episodes in and I'm a little bit in love. It has a big reckless asshole drummer guy with a heart of gold and a fascination with jazz and an uptight little guy who is slowly learning to make the switch from classical to jazz piano. Found one of the best poems I've read all year today, via Coilhouse. I love the style this poem is written in. Could maybe be called prose instead? I don't know, but it reminds me a lot of Written On The Body, a book written by Jeanette Winterson in which the narrator's gender remains unknown throughout the entire book.
