So I just started taking a short story writing class that meets every friday 5:30pm - 8p.m.. But I am also in the middle of brainstorming for my batman/joker fic exchange. I have to have 1,000 words written out by the end of September. I thought it was no big deal until I realized my September is a clusterfuck.

I can work and not be wearing pants at the same time.  Someone needs to make this kind of thing into law. I think a lot more people would enjoy work if they could not wear pants and take "me time" breaks whenever they wanted.

I mean all that really matters is I get my work done - right?

Last night I went to a show that the folks from Mountain Mushers put on at the WF library. They brought their three Husky sled dogs Sorrel, Pixi and the puppy of the bunch Sue. I got to get pictures with each one of them. Click on the cut to see the pictures!

Well I don't really know if I came out of the meeting with everything I hoped for but I was able to get my big boss to yell at me while I remained completely calm - successfully making her look like an ass. Which is good enough for me. I still have my job and I was able to still retain my flexible hours. You win some, you lose some I guess.

Ugh. I don't even know where to start....
So Sunday I spent the night at Steve's because I was up late. We woke up late Monday and were even later because of other things...
So then I decided I was going to work from home since it would be quicker than driving the hour to work and starting to work then.

Apparently the higher-ups didn't like that.

Not only did I get to spend time with the town's firefighters (hot hot hot) BUT they suited me up and I got to go into a live fire training exercise.
