Today is my little brother's 25th birthday. Where does the time go?

My mom and brother went in together and bought me a new laptop. I'm so excited! It hasn't gotten here yet, but it should be here in the next week or so. He printed off the picture, so I got to unwrap the picture, instead of unwrapping a computer. Tomorrow is my little brother's 20th birthday. It feels like he should still be in middle school...and shorter than me.

Gah! I feel so old.

Let's see. Not much is going on right now.

My brother started his new job yesterday. He now works for the city doing maintenance and utility (I guess that's what you call it).
He seems to enjoy it so far. He's earning more money and doing less work than he did as a stocker in a grocery store. He goes in at 8 and gets off a 5 with an hour lunch. ( Read more... )

It's so hot outside and it's not even summer yet! It seriously needs to rain. I keep going out every so often to give Bekah, my dog, some fresh water. Don't want her to have a heat stroke or anything.

He's part Siamese and about two months old. She wanted an adult cat, but we've been having trouble even finding available cats or kittens, so we went to see him since he was still available. He's cute. I tried for the names Loki, Demon, or Puck, but she vetoed me. She said not to name him after demons or whatever, "we don't want to give him any ( Read more... )
