Tom's dead. He was staggering around and looking really disoriented yesterday, so I knew it was coming. I felt horrible, though, because the power went out as this was happening and my mom made me spend the night with them at Grace's house. So I kind of want to quit band. Part of the reason I skipped was because I'm avoiding it...I'm not sure what I'm going to do about this. So I will make a list of pro's and con's and then I will proceed to completely ignore it during my decision making process because lists are for squares and I do things in a very circular manner. I think everyone is having a hard time. My friendslist just has that vibe about it. I don't want to add more negativity to the pile; there's a lot I want to say, but I think I'll save it.

My parents got an amoxycillin pill from Grace; we grind up little pieces and mix it with sugar to feed to Tom. He doesn't look well, but he does look a bit better ( Read more... )

This morning when I woke up (if by morning you mean a quarter to one, and I do) to find that my rat, Tom, was going completely bonkers. He was hopping around, climbing up the side of his cage, running in circles...This would be normal behavior, except Tom has a horrible respiratory problem leaving him completely docile and lethargic.
