The winter storm that is now heading toward the East Coast blew through us yesterday. It was definitely very, very WINDY and full of snow. So, it was the perfect day to take a trolley to the North Pole to see Santa. D was very excited about this until she actually saw Santa and then she was very scared. This morning I woke up to find D in her nightgown sitting on a coffee can and staring into the Guinea pig cage. I offered her a stool, but she said the coffee can was more comfortable.

Today, we went to the Critter Corral Open House. We saw Keifer and I have pictures of the kids holding him.

Our guinea pig adoption application has been approved and we will be going this Sunday to the Critter Corral Open House. I'm pondering if I need to have cage, water, and food available prior to the Open House. Also, pondering if we can not use shavings and line the bottom of the cage with towels instead ( Read more... )

We are on vacation in Hilton Head Island. While here, we participated in "The Picture" which involved everyone dressing in white (or white + khaki) and having our picture taken at the beach during sunset.
