Since I always moan to my f-list about the crummy things, I thought I'd share a bit of happy things.  I had a fabulous weekend  - spending Saturday with my grandchildren and then Sunday at a ball game with friends.  The weather was spectacular.  My children grew up in a blended family war zone, so to be able to have all the grandchildren get on so ( Read more... )

Hubs and I made our final house payment last night. It may be modest but it's OURS. We did it! We clicked "send" on the computer, then drank champagne. This is definitely one of the highlights of my life, albeit quite personal. So few people thought we'd make it this far. Fuck that noise!
