Somehow, mvernet and I got hung up on cross-overs and 50s musicals (they're a nice escape from real life) and this story is the most recent result.  I am posting in chapters even though the story is complete.  We hope you enjoy it, even though like Easter eggs, Mvernet and I are a little cracked.
