I enjoyed the seminars on Korean Hand Therapy (KHT) for two weekends in a row in February 2011: February 12-13 and 19-20.  The KHT reflexology map of the hand was discovered in 1971 by Dr. Tae-Woo Yoo, O.M.D., Ph.D. in Korea , and KHT Systems was founded by Dr. Dan Lobash, Ph.D., L.Ac.

We watched the movie, 9000 Needles, at our school on Friday, February 18, 2011.  It's a good movie about a stroke victim, Devin Dearth, going to China to receive treatment, because the U.S. healthcare system is very limited, especially when it comes to health insurance.

For our Integrative Neurology final in Winter 2010, we each had to present a case study, and mine happened to be about Guillain-Barre syndrome.  As many of us know, the information about the disease in Prince of Tennis is wrong, and the mistakes were further confirmed as I worked on the presentation.

I enjoyed the Pet Expo on Friday, April 17, 2009.  I wish I had been more careful looking up the hours. I thought they would open later, but they closed at 6:00 P.M. so I didn't get to see everything I wanted.  Well, I did see most of them, but if I had known about the hours better, I would have postponed a few things before it and arrived earlier ( Read more... )

The Oriental Medicine Doctor (OMD) Program at South Baylo University (SBU) began in 2005 .  After thinking for awhile, I decided that I would pursue the OMD degree after graduating from the Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (MAOM) Program and passing the CA Acupuncture Board exam.
