With a second little boy on the way, Jan and I have been toying with the idea of getting a play set.  We have been keeping an eye out for some good deals on a used one but also some decent deals on a new one.

It has been a very busy couple of weeks to round out the 2012 year.  The biggest news is that Jan is pregnant and we have another little one on the way (due in August).  Neither of us was expecting that.  We weren't trying for one, but neither were we trying to avoid it.  We just let come what may ( Read more... )

I'm going to make this post private to begin with ... at least until we get confirmation.  Jan has just called me to tell me she is pregnant.  I'm still in a bit of shock. I don't know where the little rascal found it, but Corey picked up a cold and promptly passed it to Jan and me.  Jan came down with it three days ago.  It hit me yesterday.  This one is rough.  I am fortunate that I have a 4 day weekend starting tomorrow.  Maybe by Tuesday I will be back on my feet.  Seriously, I think I just may go to bed and ( Read more... )

 At the end of Corey's first week he got rewarded with a visit to the doctor.  Everything is fine.  He is gaining weight right on schedule and even seems to be ahead on some of the milestones.  Whether by accident or on purpose, he rolled over onto his belly and seems to have some control over holding his head upright ( Read more... )
