I had a really good weekend. I met up with a friend on Friday who I haven't seen in years. I was worried it might be awkward but we picked up right where we left off. We're two VERY different people so while we like each other and we're both nerds, we don't have much in common outside of that. Nice to see her every once in a while though. Kind of ( Read more... )

Since my mom has been spending all her free time at the hospital with my grandma, we decided to see a movie together. We went to see Dark Shadows and it was... boring. I didn't care about any of the characters. It just felt so flat. I know there were 'funny' parts but I only laughed once. My mom even fell asleep. I mean, she's exhausted but still. ( Read more... )

I want today to be over but I'm scared of how it might end. My grandma is at the hospital undergoing surgery for another broken hip. The last one was about a year ago.
