Galaxy defenders
My first attempt at 'Galaxy Nails' and I realized I need brighter colors. And nail polish with finer glitter. Still, not too bad. Something new to try.
I also saw MIB³ today.
+ Will Smith does not age.
- I'm still butthurt he didn't do the song this time around.
+ Josh Brolin does a perfect Tommy Lee Jones.
+ I was surprised they went there with the 1960s racism. I'm glad they did though.
+ This movie wasn't as funny as the first movie but it was still quite good. I actually laughed more than once, which I can appreciate a lot more after having watched Dark Shadows and only laughed one time.
+ It was a lot more character driven than I was expecting but I'm a sucker for that stuff so *thumbs up*
- They weren't very subtle with the foreshadowing though so I totally saw the ending coming. Though it sounds like some people were shocked when it happened?
+ However, I still loved it. I loved that K is basically all J has. They can't really have relationships outside of their job so it makes sense, but it's actually more than that. We find out that J's father, who he never knew growing up, had actually sacrificed himself to save K and help him save the world. And J knows that now. He saw it happen. So when K recruited J in the first movie, he actually already knew him. Had probably been watching him the whole time. Their relationship is like Gibbs and Tony from NCIS but without the sexual tension LOL The ending didn't make me cry but my eyes were all watery. OH! And there was an alien who could see all possible futures and in order to convince J's father to help them save the world, he showed him the man his son grows up to be and what he does every day to protect the planet. So basically...
+ Watching this movie has made me want to get them all on DVD as I still only have them on VHS. It also made me realize I could probably watch another one should they decide to continue. But if they don't, I think this was a touching end to the movies ♥
+ Oh, and J mentioned he's been an agent for 14 years. A small detail but I love that they kept it real time :D
