Hello 2011! I hope everyone is having a very happy new year! I was at a lazy luau with friends at midnight. What were all of you up to?

Happy Boxing Day, everyone. I had a lovely Christmas - visited with lots of family, did some bouncing from house to house, and finally ended up at my grandmother's (as it is every year) for the maternal side of my family's annual stocking-opening and chowing down. School started today! Things aren't all in order, but they will be within a few days. Hooray for the kind people at the financial aid office.

I shall have a better 2009 wrap-up post later, and I shall also have some goal talk later - for now, I shall relate some of the events of the end of the year.
