Finally home from Youmacon. Overall things went well. More details on the con later.

In other news, my Aunt Phyllis who has been quite sick for some time is getting close to the big goodbye. Since I was so close, I left the con early to spend time with family and say my final goodbyes. *sniffle*

Youmacon here I come... well after some sleep that is. *crashes*

My heap of felt emote pins and hair clips has rapidly been growing but tonight there was a minor incident. A slip of the fingers plus gravity equals blob on hot glue on skin.

The clock is ticking. Youmacon is fast approaching, and I need to get stuff made for artist alley.

I'm being quite ambitious with quantities, and I hope I manage to make everything.

My Youmacon Artist Alley table was a SMASHING success. I sold out of hats and earmuffs. The emotes were quite popular and I also sold out of the sweatdrops. Surprisingly a few people actually bought pin cushions. The string wrapped items didn't sell well, yet I think I might still be able to move a few online. Got my sewing machine back on Monday, but due to a bout with food poisoning I wasn't up for any work until Tuesday. Anyway, sewing for Youmacon is FINALLY done. Other packing is far from done but I have my list ready.

I think my new business cards are quite cute.

My machine is now in the hands of the mechanics at Thorton Co. and it will be ready by Monday. I wish it could be ready by Saturday, but I can't complain especially when Thornton is charging $30 less than Joann's with a promised turn around of 1 week.
