My machine is now in the hands of the mechanics at
Thorton Co. and it will be ready by Monday. I wish it could be ready by Saturday, but I can't complain especially when Thornton is charging $30 less than Joann's with a promised turn around of 1 week. If I had gone with Joann's I wouldn't see my machine until I got back.
Mom's machine is a real trooper. It survived all the kittymuffs. I'm not sure how it will do with the hats, but it should get me far enough so that my machine can do the finishing touches.
After all is said and done, Mom's machine could probably do with a slight adjustment too.
