The City is clearly out to punish me!  First I'm forced to watch Van Helsing make a fool out of himself, and then--well!  I'm perfectly willing to pretend that that day never happened.  Although I'm curious--do curses have an effect on emotions, or do subconscious desires stay intact during a curse?
