Been back from Japan for ten days, not that anybody would have noticed with the way I never say anything any more.( Okay, so that's how I started, and then verbal diarrhea happened so the rest is going behind a cut. )

So I won the wonderful peroxide_fic in the help_japan auction, and I was evil and made her write in a fandom she hasn't been active in for years. But she was very nice to me about it, and way faster than I expected, and anyway I wasn't worried because hey, a good writer is a good writer and this was going to be good!

Julia and I spent today putting the finishing touches to our Help Pakistan story. As usual, it turned out a little (*cough*) longer than we expected, as did the writing of it, and now we've both got guests about to appear, so without much ceremony:

As some of you know, k_julia has been on some fabulous all-inclusive holiday somewhere nice and warm, where the 'all-inclusive' did not include in-room internet, so our contact with each other has been sporadic. And for people who pretty much live in each other's virtual pockets, a week of maybe 1/2 hr contact per day is pretty... interesting. I leave you ( Read more... )
