Last night was the first time I did a circle and blessed my altar. Afterwards I just felt happy, loved, and at peace. What did your first time feel like? 

I miss mine, lol.  Before I had my youngest I had a permanent altar set up in our bedroom.  It was an old herb table that my husband's grandmother used in her potting shed, and that my husband cleaned and refinished for me.  It's about 36" long and 18" wide, so plenty of room for a nice altar.  I have several colors of altar cloths found here, and ( Read more... )

We moved into our new place a week ago and I put up my altar. I redid it as the table its now on is bigger so more room for things I've wanted to have on there. I'll be doing it different for yule but for now it looks like this.

I did my altar slightly more influenced by my spiritual endevors in the last year, and less traditional, but I thought it worked anyways ^^ Samhain was a lot of fun!
