I hope everybody's having a good time. Everybody else in my family celebrates Christmas, which I celebrate with them on the 25th because it's important to them, but I made my own special place this year, outside my window. I had this idea last year, but I never had a chance to do it. Snow falls from the upper roof of our family's house, and It makes a huge pile on the porch roof outside my window. I hollowed out a space in the snow.

A closeup of the cookies, on a Tree-shaped thingy. They are Pecan Butterball cookies, dusted with powdered sugar. Very appropriate, since it looks like snow.
