Since waiting around for Xpyne to do her thing has not worked too well with these things in the past (AnimeExpo 2008 and Yaoi Con 2008 con posts still none-existent, btw, yeah), I figured I'd better at least get the report part out of the way before strangling the photographic evidence out of Xpyne.

★ The Brand New concert was awesome.  Sound quality could have been better, but the band themselves did a great job, we had a good spot and lots of fun.  Plus they played two of my very favorite songs of theirs, so I was really happy about that, too. :D

Made is back from Y-con safe and sound. The weekend was a total blast; Xpyne's costume came out so perfectly, I could have cried, and I suppose I looked pretty cute manly man-bridely as well. :3 We met tons of Saiyuki fans this year, had a big group, ourselves, and took tons of pictures--which will hopefully be up soon ( Read more... )

Just a quick run-by post, to let people know we're still alive and hanging on by our fingertips. DDD:
