★ The Brand New concert was awesome. Sound quality could have been better, but the band themselves did a great job, we had a good spot and lots of fun. Plus they played two of my very favorite songs of theirs, so I was really happy about that, too. :D
★ Have finished the Ukoku robe except for the bottom hem, and Xpyne looks rapetastic bitching in it with my Sanzo 'leathers,' breastplate and sutra, her glasses, and the as-of-yet unfinished wig. I did finally get her to alter her sandals and do some material shopping for my crazy staff ::huff huff::, but I think she's decided she needs to do a polyurethane plastic cast, the material for which of course has to come from Pennsylvania or some shit so I'll probably have to pay extra to expidite shipping, and the stuff itself costs, like $40 or something... ಠ_ಠ Have started cutting out the pieces for the 'wandering years' Sanzo costume and am waiting impatiently for my hemp cord (bought all that Jo-Ann's online had left, about 55') to arrive so I can figure out my sandals.
★ On an unrelated note, I just read a beautiful end of the five year mission/Spock Prime meddling in the young'un's love lives/pon farr Spork fic which actually had me tearing up at one point, lol. I'd highly recommend it for any K/S fans, it's The Ending Has Not Yet Been Written by
