Whenever I finish a book, I have this weird feeling of limbo and, occasionally, ennui. An unsurity as to what to do with myself and where to go next. Does everyone get that in between readings?

I finished Mark Haddon's new book A Spot of Bother last night (he's also the author of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time).

OMG BRILLIANT. Seriously, it's the best book I've read in a while. It's rare that books have me lolling, but this one totally did.

Go buy it. Now.

Anyone who claims that Lolita is a love story has clearly never read the book.

I so need to re-read that book already.

I saw "The Da Vinci Code" last night. It was very mediocre. First of all, I enjoyed the book. Well written? Not really. However, it had two redeeming qualities: tons of interesting historical information, and suspense. It made a good thriller. The movie?
