May was a good month. The weather is beginning to really transition into summer-like weather and all the trees have their leaves. The sun stays up past 9 PM now and the sunny days are that much more comforting. It's really lifted my mood concerning my job ( Read more... )

Nicole has made it to 34 weeks and counting! Everything is right on the money for March 12th and our baby is supposedly in the head-down position so we're extremely relieved. Nicole's pregnancy continues! Right at the end of October was the 20-week Anatomy Scan . Our little girl was so active and bouncy (She's got some real rabbit genes) that they couldn't get a good photo of her heart. Worse, they thought something might be wrong with it. We've reached the 20-week mark with Nicole's pregnancy! Halfway there! So far so good. Towards the end of October, we went in for the big milestone 20-week Anatomy Scan where a long list of body features and functions were checked during a rather long ultrasound appointment. Nicole has made it to the 16-week mark! Her pregnancy is going well and after a four-week lull in appointments, the 16-week check-in went great. It's been a rough winter. I heard somewhere that people are trying to sue the groundhog for incorrectly predicting spring close at hand. I turned 37 a few days back. My first birthday as a married man! It's been a quiet week. I worked through my birthday and spent Nicole's 31st birthday in a dentists chair. At the end of my last entry, I mentioned that my sister, Val, and her husband were in a car wreck towards the end of June. I said that she'd broken ribs but thankfully they were merely bruised. Well here I am again at yet another birthday. It seems that every year, I do feel a little more mature and I have that additional responsibility to go along with it.
