Scarlett is one year old! It's been such a fast year; it's hard to believe. She's walking quite well now and just about running. She waves at people and has really turned into a toddler. We've reached the 20-week mark with Nicole's pregnancy! Halfway there! So far so good. It happened! I got married to my best friend! On October 12th at 1 PM, Nicole and I tied the knot at a very simple ceremony in front of a judge at the Oregon City courthouse not far from the end of the Oregon Trail. Yesterday was my 35th birthday! It's been a fast year. So this is my mid-30s. I'm closer to 40 than 30 as of yesterday. I've done a good job these last few days of reminding myself of how young I still am and that there's much left to do. I worry that as time goes on, that I'll resent how much time is gone. I bought an iPad earlier this week. Yeaaaa I finally broke down and bought an Apple i-device after successfully resisting iPads and iPhones since their inception.
