We made the announcement at the Winter Gathering, and Erci and I will be less active in La Belle Compagnie for the time being. We've been a bit overloaded. Clearly I have been a little overwhelmed by life lately, and that has been both good and bad... Trivial little updates and one liners are so easy on that mixed blessing/curse of Facebook that I am afraid I have neglected more thoughtful writing here.

I will try to catch up a little for those who are not inclined to use farcebook...

In just nine days every registered Virginia voter will be able to cast ballots in the first state-wide general election since redistricting from the 2010 United States Census. Guess it's a good time to buy some grass seed and over seed the bare spots in the yard.

Also a good time to clean gutters and make sure drain tile is connected to down spouts and is clear of debris.

This morning I went by the house to check on things and feed the cats and found that the power was back on at the house; and that by some miracle I do not fully understand most of our treasured marine aquarium livestock appears to have survived!
