One of our office-fosters died of feline distemper (cat parvo) last night.

We've tested the other two, and they've come up remarkably negative, but that's never a guarantee with distemper/parvo. It can kill without ever registering symptoms. The question is, how did this kitten, who had been in our office for an entire month, contract distemper ( Read more... )

She'd calmed down considerably, so he felt it was time to have her spayed and vaccinated and put up for adoption. Today was rainy and miserable, and it really only went downhill from the soaking I got this morning. Work was...not BAD, but sad. We had to euthanize Buttons (a big orange cat who survived a housefire last week.
