Mom had tried to talk me into leaving my camping gear at home, instead of leaving it in the trunk of my car where it usually lives. She argued that I wasn’t likely to go camping any time soon. I kept waiting for this major change in landscape after I got out of Chicago. Indiana was still just as flat as I remembered it. Facebook is a funny place. I've reconnected with people I haven't seen in over a decade. This includes a woman that "worked" at the radio station I DJ'd at. My Japanese Little Brother is in town visiting! Yay! We got to hang out tonight with a bunch of the old Metals crew- at least, all the ones nearby. We had a grand time & T showed off his massive pitch burn scar, which looks like a giant pink slug stuck to his arm.
