Last night, I decided to walk home to try to clear my head from the events of the past week.

As I walked past U.N. Plaza, I stopped in my tracks. It wasn’t the pervasive stench of Homeless Person that stopped me; it was the sight of City Hall.

Followers of my journal may recall back in June, when my aunt passed away, I reconnected with all of my cousins, who turned out to be totally awesome, welcoming to nakednsf, and just a whole load of fun.

Yesterday afternoon, on a gorgeously sunny say in San Francisco, my boss and his partner of nearly 18 years officially tied the knot.

They exchanged vows in a gazebo in the back of their gorgeous garden with his good friend, SF politico Susan Leal, officiating.

Two days, two major pieces of the puzzle found: venue and jewelry designer.

The venue was only the second place we looked at, and the jeweler only the third. In both instances, the venue/vendor just felt right to us and since Tom and I are both big believers in going with our gut, we jumped on them immediately and instinctively.
