For a 10-going-on-11-year-old girl, Samantha is totally cool and way more mature than one might expect from a girl with fold-out Teen Beat* posters of High School Musical on her bedroom walls.
Kelly… oh, Kelly. That sweet, gentle, little girly girl had me wrapped around her little finger.
On our last day in SD, we finally told them that Tom and I were getting married and that they would both would get to be flower girls. Not an eyelash was batted. But the conversation did take a turn.
Samantha wanted to know what our colors were going to be, so she could start picking out a dress.
Kelly announced that she would wear her pink Princess dress, which she promptly modeled for us.
I almost said, “bitch, there’s room for only ONE PRINCESS at this wedding, and it ain’t you!” but I thought she might not get the humor.
