It's official - gay marriage is illegal.  For now.

The CA Supreme Court decided 6-1 to take up the lawsuits against Prop 8, but refused to stay the proposition while the lawsuits were heard. I believe they said oral arguments could begin as early as March.

Last night, I decided to walk home to try to clear my head from the events of the past week.

As I walked past U.N. Plaza, I stopped in my tracks. It wasn’t the pervasive stench of Homeless Person that stopped me; it was the sight of City Hall.
