The snow that started at 1pm on Friday just stopped about 10 minutes ago.  Don't get me wrong, I love snow with the best of them, but I'm relieved it's over.  We've got about 15 inches on the ground.  It was a good deal for the Pats--they won their tenth "Snow Bowl" in a row (though they were playing Arizona, who probably didn't have a chance in ( Read more... )

I, foolishly, VOLUNTEERED to run out to Whole Foods to pick up 1) figs and 2) slivered almonds.  It usually takes about 10 minutes to get there, 5-7 minutes to buy a couple things, and 10 minutes to come home.  I knew that it would be a bit worse today because it's the Friday before Christmas, and it was about an hour before we were due to get ( Read more... )
