At 4.36 pm today I was inexplicably excited about production in two days. Pure excitement, no tinge of apprehension or relief or impatience or whatever - this is what we did, what I did. Whatever it is, it's mine/ours. That - counts for a lot. It doesn't make everything okay, but it makes everything irrelevant, I think.

I genuinely like the song In Our Bedroom After The War; it's gorgeous enough to take my breath away, belatedly, though. I think I got it from a Scott/Emma mixtape melancholise put up some time ago (thanks! :D). I am thinking of working a snippet from it into the production, but I'm not sure how copyright restrictions apply/work in that case, and even then.

FOB, not maudlin faux-angst (: (And yes there is a difference okay; I find in myself a new fondness for FOB and Cobra - who actually has very subtly subversive songs whose underlying message hits you only upon third or fourth listen. I just watched The Devil Wears Prada, and it was a good movie. Anne Hathaway is gorgeous, but the movie was realistic, and somehow, despite the lack of character exploration, all the characters were sympathetic, and well-played.
