whoop!

You know the last line from my previous post? Yeah, it still applies. I haven't done any homework since Thursday night's feverish labour on the French homework due on Thursday. And yeah, I still don't feel like doing any, even with Bio looming over me, and knowing that with every past minute, I'm one minute behind the immense pile of work I have this weekend.

Honestly, I'd rather spend today and the next week and the entire year just reading. I have eight borrowed books in my possession now: four from the school library, four from National Library, and it's so wonderful to just drift from a book to the next, absorbing knowledge through your fingertips and leaning against the cool touch of the glass.

Another thing that contributed to my languor was watching Shi Ying's sister's Staged! last night at the Lee Foundation Theater. I wouldn't say it was awesome, because it wasn't technically brilliant, and I wasn't drawn into the entire musical as I should have been, except for two beautiful moments, but it did give me a great deal of inspiration :D I did take notes, so I will do a more thorough write-up of it, as well as the past week, I guess, later, after I finish my homework /: But it did get Liz, Gee, Shi Ying and I really really excited and I half-wish - wait, what do I mean, half? I wish - that Bio and English and Math PT and Chem SPA weren't this couple of weeks so we can actually start !

I'm coming home, I'm coming home
Did you take off while I was gone?
I missed it all, I messed you up, I missed you.
I'm coming home, I wanna know
When all the leaves begin to fall
If I'm falling, falling apart

- Homecoming, Hey Monday

people, books, wasting time!
