I got a thank you letter from a customer today! It was faxed yesterday, so I guess you could call it a Valentine.

Sadly, these are rare in our department; I've gotten two in eight years.

It is now 2008 where I am. My keys are not missing.

Yay!

I think I have all my present shopping done, including my Secret Santa--I just need to wrap everything to make sure it's all accounted for.

I'm a bit worried that nothing I shipped last week seems to have arrived yet, but there's still a good business week before Christmas.

Not much news. Apparently Aunt Judy's hosting Thanksgiving at her place.

Finally broke out those holiday CDs I bought at clearance this summer and have been listening to them. I'll be putting a few tracks into the pod for the season.

Well, it's that time of year again. Happy Independence Day to those who care, and Happy Fourth of July to everyone else.

A bit surprised by Justice O'Connor's retirement, but this should take some of the strain off Rehnquist for a little bit--I'm sure it isn't fun to have the public and your colleagues speculating on when you'll collapse.

The family had a gathering yesterday: my birthday (june 26), Father's Day, and my brother's anniversary. We ate at the Big Bowl, which is a chain Asian food place.
