At least my brother thinks I'm cool.

Well, I'm settling comfortably into my new position.

I'm learning quickly how to read my bosses' minds (yes, that's plural, working for 2 brands = 2 bosses!) because they are often vague and/or French. Rather... they're both vague, and both French... so sometimes the sentence structure isn't quite right. But I'm quickly figuring it out.

So, I was at work yesterday when one of the ad reps came in to drop off some stuff for the brand coordinators. His office is just down the street so instead of sending things by courier, he walks things over frequently. He also loves to hang around and chat with us. So busy today! I fly out to Edmonton this evening for Little McTurtle's wedding, but I'm at work for a half day. There's so much work to be done. And then when I get back, my boss is in Paris for a week, so I'll be on my own until about Sept 4.

Yikes!

Better get to work so I can leave at noon in good conscience today...

Today I have an epic headache of DOOM! It started yesterday and didn't go away. I thought it was from the pressure building up before the rainstorms we had last night, but nope... didn't go away. Today was a pretty good day. Work wasn't too bad today, one of my coworkers and I went to the park for lunch today.
