Happy Birthday to boron3 and momentsofro!!! I hope it's been a great day!
So I've finished one week at my new job, and I think that it's working out really well. HR will make a decision for sure by the middle of next week. I think that I'd have to screw it up really badly for her to not hire me. :) I think I'm really going to like it there. The staff are all really nice and a fun group.
I've learned that it's easier for me to walk from work up to Bathurst Station every night instead of waiting for a streetcar... I made it up to Harbord (essentially, two blocks south of the station) before a streetcar passed me today. And it was jam packed! There was no way I could have got on it anyway... And it's only a 25 minute walk to the station, so I can get my walk in every day.
I think I'm going to watch a movie now, then go to bed... gotta get up early in the morning for work. I'm missing ilmob's birthday shindig because I got the EARLY shift tomorrow. :( But at least that means I'm finished work by 1 pm. Ray and I may go see Jumper tomorrow... but we're not sure yet.
