Brrrrrr... it is so cold today. I was just getting used to the lovely spring weather, and now it's cold and windy again in Toronto. To top it all off, the air conditioning seems to be on in the building full blast. Which is a stark contrast from yesterday when it wasn't working at all. Yesterday the office was so stiflingly hot. I spent my Saturday at the Art Gallery of Ontario with my 8 year old cousin, teaching her about art and culture (my aunt's not really into all that stuff and my cousin is really taking a shine to art, so I offered to take her). Yesterday was a great day. I went shopping with sheighnah. She got her tax refund and needed new clothes... can you say shopping spree? We had a great time, and I ended up getting a few new outfits too. So nice to be wearing size 10! If my thighs were a little slimmer, I think I could fit an 8!

Yesterday was Grandma's funeral. I'm so glad that my pastor took the service. He had a wonderful funeral sermon; I know for sure that Dad found it really comforting. I also heard comments from the Baptist minister that was there that it's rare to hear an evangelical Presbyterian minister... heck, you don't always find evangelical Baptist ( Read more... )

Visitations at Ogden's (4164 Sheppard Ave E) Saturday from 3-5 and 7-9, funeral Monday at 2 from Ogden's. Burial at Ebenezer United Church.

Still alive, but very busy and very tired.
