Its been almost two months now since my return to Florida. For the first few days being back home was so strange. The house felt so sterile. The water tasted so different. After a two day journey I have finally arrived in Connecticut. I intended to travel alone but my Mom was hinting that she wanted to come as well. It was good to see her so happy about the trip. So quickly my trip has come to an end. It was a wonderful ending though. Today I went into Hampden and was going to hike the Minnechaug Mt. trail. I did so for a very short while. I am back for a much needed vacation to New England. It is no coincidence that this journal sees most its updates concerning visits north. I feel excited and alive when I'm here. Inspired. I'm a little disappointed in my visit. I've been here for ten days and for a trip that I planed to get some work done, I have little to show. I have a total of three finalized pictures and unless I go anywhere tonight, those three are going to be all this time around. I am back in New England and my visit has been refreshing. John, Peter, and I went to the lake, Peaked Mountain, and the orchard all in one evening. It was spectacular and I got a couple of good photos out of it. While at the orchard we heard the strong pounding of hooves retreating from us. It is a place with many deer and other large animals.

Just got back from Hampden wheremcflynnthm and I had a wonderful get-together (as always). Before stopping in however, I drove up Hickory ln. as I usually do while in town. This time was different. So I was hanging out with Peter, Mike and Stephanie on Friday and we decided to go to a pool hall. Trouble is, Peter and Mike are still under twenty one and no one would let them in.
