Okay, a real post for real now:

Radio 4 has run a program on Frank Wild, his life and the story of his ashes, which are being buried next to Shackleton's on South Georgia. The extra good news is that it's available as a download, so you don't even have to listen to it in the next week!

Radio-ho!

BBC Radio 4's done a documentary on the banjo Leonard Hussey brought on the Endurance expedition, and which Shackleton himself rescued from the stricken ship ... Quite a good show, with archive recordings of crew members and the banjo itself as well as historical context and a recreation of one of the songs written on Elephant Island.
