Yay, it is the weekend. I think I shall celebrate by reading some fanfic. Also at some point this weekend I shall probably end up seeing August Rush and putting up a Christmas tree. I would also enjoy playing Shadow Hearts: Covenant, in which I have just been required to do battle with a large pink cat. Yes.

Today I was a pirate. Yarr. My pirate hat has a wig attached to it, and many people thought it was my hair.

Arrr. Today be Talk Like a Pirate Day, as ye be well aware. I, um, have nothing particularly piratey to say. I guess I could play some Puzzle Pirates, but that's piratey every day -- your inventory is labeled "Booty," for example. I was reading some of the Aubrey/Maturin books earlier, but those aren't really piratical.

Anyway. Arrr.

On the off chance that you, O my LJ friends, would be interested in reading published novels about gay pirates, I recommend the Raised By Wolves series (maybe trilogy?) by W.A. Hoffman.
