 I'm pregnant.  Totally knocked up.  I bled off and on from December 18th (the day my Mirena IUD was removed) to January 6th.  I think I ovulated around the 17th of January.  I got a positive on my birthday, Feburary 1st.  I'm excited that I actually have symptoms (sore boobs, nausea) but I have some reservations considering my history of ( Read more... )

Well, I guess I had false hopes before i went to my OB appt. I got there and instead of doing the NST right away (like I had thought they would) they told me I had an appt in Labor and Delivery at noon (this office is in the hosp, right next to L&D). I have like, two minutes to update before my OB appt. Just got back from my ultrasound and her head is measuring right on, as well as most of the rest of her body. The ONLY thing measuring large is her belly (at 42 weeks!!), which is good because the belly can squish (bones are a little less flexible). Went to Burfoot park today to take my pics. We get there, and realize that Rusty had left the white shirt I was gonna wear on the kitchen table. Had my first appointment with the new doc yesterday, or, ONE of the new docs. I did the NST, took about 15 minutes, and baby was reacting just like they wanted her to. AFterwards, the medical assistant started gathering supplies from around the room; non-latex gloves (I have an allergy), an apron, KY, etc. I knew what was coming. "Alright, go ( Read more... )

Today...the interventions began. The doc's office called with my appointment times. They want me to go in once a week for an NST (non-stress test), where they basically hook me up to monitors and check to make sure the babies heart rate goes up with fetal movement. Right now I can't think of anything worse than craving rough, hard-core sex and not being able to get it because :
A) my husband is at work
B) I'm almost 37 weeks pregnant, and it would hurt like hell...in a bad way.
C) I'm not so sure I could find my vagina if I tried.

I miss our kinky days, I hope they return.

Yesterday I took Mars to his check up appt at the vet. His ears look great, and smell great too! She said she could actually see his ear drum this time! yay! He was such a good boy, was letting the vet poke and prod, and was very gentle.
