(no subject)
I have like, two minutes to update before my OB appt. Just got back from my ultrasound and her head is measuring right on, as well as most of the rest of her body. The ONLY thing measuring large is her belly (at 42 weeks!!), which is good because the belly can squish (bones are a little less flexible). The ultrasound tech said their ultrasounds can be off by up to 1.5 pounds (+/-), which I already knew. The weight estimate she gave me was 8 lbs, 12oz at this point. And that is for 37weeks gestation. So if they were off by even two pounds, as long as I go to term, she's gonna be a big baby. yay!! The tech guessed she would be 9lbs10oz, just for fun. She wants me to bring her in after I have her. My amniotic fluid levels are great, she said my placenta can be a stage three at this point in pregnancy, but it isn't, it is perfectly healthy. NOTHING HERE INDICATES THAT I SHOULD BE INDUCED, EXCEPT HER SIZE. Which means the doctor shouldn't even mention it today, but we will see. I feel so much better! I was afraid that the US would show all this horrible stuff and I would have to argue big time against induction, but now, it just isn't sensible to do one!
