I just saw an item on the local TV news about a dry ski slope that had just re-opened again after managing to clear it's slopes of snow!

Seriously!

I looked for a link to it and couldn't find one. I think the BBC are probably too embarrassed to post it!

BBC South is requesting pictures of how the snow is affecting people in the South of England.

I would like all my friends in the North USA and Canada to send a picture to the email address below, with the caption "You call that snow? That's not snow, that's dandruff!" or "That's not snow... THIS is snow!" Or words to that effect!

I seem to have quite a few women or girls (and the odd gay guy) friend me totally at random. The strange thing to me is that it is mostly women. The percentage of female to male on my flist is something like 90/10. Not that I mind, or anything, it's just odd.
