I seem to have quite a few women or girls (and the odd gay guy) friend me totally at random. The strange thing to me is that it is mostly women. The percentage of female to male on my flist is something like 90/10. Not that I mind, or anything, it's just odd. I've always had more female friends than male and I've never been able to figure out why.
Be that as it may, please say hi to katcoquettish, who appeared out of nowhere, and has so far not actually commented or anything...
A random thought... Up until the mid 19th century it was common for people who owed money to be thrown in prison "until such time as they could pay". The logic in that escapes me! Okay, if you have rich relatives, they might pay the debt for you to get you out, but how can you work when locked up? If you can't work, you can't earn and if you can't earn, you can't pay the debt back... I suppose there's some historical fact that I don't know which made it work, somehow...
News: Man made global warming looks like it's a myth after all. Or at the very least, greatly exaggerated.
It seems that the boffins at one particular climate research centre in the UK have been exaggerating the evidence for, and suppressing the evidence against. Sure this is just one, but it's just one that has been hacked into... If one has been doing it, it's a fairly safe bet that they all have!
Well, well, what do you know, it's natural after all. And guess what? We are still overdue for that ice age...
