每個人對生命都有不同的期望，有些是為了自己，有些是為了滿足别人，但從没有人能保證，這些期望何時可以達成……如果期望真的無法達成，是否應該繼續堅持下去呢？

期望，哪怕是一個细小的期望，當它可以落實的時候，我們都會感到興奮，好像生命又重燃了希望。期望有時又是虛無缥缈的，但它卻是我们的精神支柱，就好像空氣那樣，身體要靠空氣才能生存，而我們的心，就要有期望，才能有力氣好好生活下去

每個人都想自己的期望能夠達成，但世事往往不能盡如人意，有時候期望越大，失望也越大，反而没期望就不會有無謂的痛苦。或許期望會帶來痛苦，但正因為有期望，就算有多痛苦我們都可以熬過去，所以即使多麼害怕失望，多麼怕痛，也不能失去期望。

I guess you can say that I've been living away from home for about 6-7 years now and at no point have I felt particularly homesick. Maybe it's the lack of connection I feel towards being in Canada.
