Tonight I was craving coconut chicken. So I made some. And I felt a little like a challenge, so I made it gluten-free. Verdict: YUM. This could of course be made with good old wheat four.

The dance was awesome. I danced my butt off, and there were only a couple of songs I didn't like. So glad I went!

After the dance, I came home for the Chinese New Year feast. There were easily a dozen dishes. Then we played games until the wee hours. I drove the kids home an hour ago, and am soon off to sleep myself.

I stayed up all night Monday taking data. It was wild. I had a meeting to go to in Carlisle, which I was being picked up for at 7.45. I beat my ride to my house by 10 minutes, just enough to change my clothes and freshen up. So I took my phone and keys out of my pockets and threw my clothes in the washer. Writer's Block: Department of Burning Questions

My dear friends who are fans of the Break-n-bake cookies: Nestle has recalled many of their products because of contamination with a virulent strain of E. coli. Check any packages in your fridges and stay safe!

I'm glad I only eat my homemade cookie dough these days. :-/

Saturday: Dinner at Lawrence's. I worked a bit, then made 2 lb. homemade egg tagliatelle with a heavy cream sauce. If you want recipes, ask. It practically melted in the mouth. Pure heaven. 10 lbs. strawberries came into my house Saturday.
3 lbs. left for a friend's house (it's ok - she helped pick!)
7 lbs. stayed at my house.
It's been 6 days.

Perhaps the second-best way to wake up is to eat fresh Eastern strawberries smothered in homemade whipped cream.
