Perhaps the second-best way to wake up is to eat fresh Eastern strawberries smothered in homemade whipped cream. The first-best, well, requires a companion. :)
arimania and I picked 10 lbs. strawberries yesterday morning, and I have already demolished 2.5 lbs. My mouth is in love. Fortunately while strawberries only last til the end of June, other fruits will pick up, and I love most of them almost as much. I don't eat fruit most of the year because what's shipped from California looks right but tastes flat (or bland!) and makes me sad. But now we are in my happy time: the fruit and veg make summer tolerable. :)
Saw Up lastnight with my formerly invisible and soon-to-be-again roommate and his parents. It was amazing. Adventure is out there, and when what you believe are the best parts of your life are behind you, more may be coming. I loved the characters, the settings, and ... I could go on but it's meaningless unless I got into spoiling details. It's a Pixar film with a novel story and wonderful cast, and it'll break and remake your heart. Just see it.
I'm going to miss Lawrence's parents. They're neat people, and they enjoy feeding me. :) I kind of wish they didn't have to go to the West Coast, even though I'm moving into their house as a result. Hrm. I'm thinking of something (food-wise) to make them that will be good for them to remember me by. I'm open to suggestions.
